Smart Ways to Get Started
These are strategies real people use. Most people combine two or three of these together. I did.
0% APR Credit Card
Many credit cards offer 12-18 months of 0% intro APR on purchases. Apply before buying, put the machine on the card, and pay it down interest-free.
Example: Chase Freedom, Citi Simplicity, and Wells Fargo Reflect all offer 15-21 months at 0% APR. Split $4,980 over 15 months = $332/mo with zero interest.
Personal Loan
Banks and credit unions offer personal loans with fixed rates and predictable payments. Often better rates than credit cards after the intro period.
Example: A 36-month loan at 8% APR on $4,980 = ~$156/mo. Total interest over 3 years: ~$633. Your machine pays for itself long before that.
Split Across Multiple Cards
Don't have enough limit on one card? Split the purchase across two or three cards. You can mix 0% intro cards, existing cards, even a debit card for part of it.
Example: $2,000 on Card A (0% APR) + $1,500 on Card B + $1,480 from bank account. Three sources, one machine, manageable payments on each.
Enagic Payment Plan
Enagic offers their own direct financing. Typically requires a down payment followed by monthly installments. No credit check for some plans.
Example: Enagic's in-house plan may allow $1,000 down + monthly payments. Terms vary by distributor. Ask me for the latest options.
Savings + Card Combo
Put whatever you're comfortable with from savings as a down payment, then finance the rest on a card or loan. Even $500-$1,000 down makes a big difference in monthly payments.
Example: $1,500 from savings + $3,480 on a 0% card = $232/mo over 15 months. That's less than a lot of people spend on supplements.
Combine Everything
There are no rules about how many payment methods you use. Bank account, credit cards, personal loan, savings — mix and match whatever works. Enagic accepts multiple forms of payment on a single purchase.
Example: $1,000 debit + $2,000 on Card A + $1,980 on Card B. Three payments, zero stress. The point is to find the combination that lets you start now instead of waiting.
Real Talk: Why I'm Sharing This
When my partner and I first looked at the price of the machine, our first reaction was "we can't afford this right now." Sound familiar?
But when we actually sat down and looked at our options — a 0% intro card we qualified for, plus a small personal loan — we realized we could start for less than what we were already spending on supplements and bottled water combined.
The machine paid itself off within the first year through the business. But even without the business side, the math works. You stop buying bottled water. You stop buying filters. You stop buying half the supplements you were taking because your body is finally getting what it actually needs.
I share this because the biggest bottleneck isn't whether the water works. It's whether people give themselves permission to figure out the money part. Most of the time, it's more doable than you think.
